The 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans ran from Friday 5 June to Sunday 14 June 2026, with the race itself starting on Saturday 13 June and finishing 24 hours later on Sunday 14 June.
Friday 5th June
SCRUTINEERING: Technical and administrative checks began in the town centre, running from 10am to 7pm. Inter Europol Competition's #43 LMP2 was the first car through, opening the show.
Saturday 6th June
SCRUTINEERING CONTINUES: Final technical checks closed out at 12:40pm. The day also saw the Hypercar entries arrive – including the Ferrari and Toyota factory cars – along with the traditional drivers’ parade through the streets of Le Mans.
Sunday 7th June
TEST DAY: Two three-hour free practice sessions gave every team its first proper running of race week, with new drivers required to complete a minimum number of laps to be signed off for the race.
Race week
The days between Test Day and the race are filled with driver autograph sessions, pit walks for ticket holders, and the traditional drivers’ handprint ceremony in the city centre – check the official race programme nearer the time for exact times and locations.
Saturday 13th – Sunday 14th June: RACE
The race started on the Saturday afternoon and ran for a full 24 hours. Toyota's #7 GR010 Hybrid (Kamui Kobayashi, Nyck de Vries, Mike Conway) took the overall win by just 11 seconds from the #20 BMW M Hybrid V8 – see our Latest News page for the full result.
