18/6/2017 – Porsche wins the 24 Hours of Le Mans outright for the third year running. The #2 919 Hybrid, driven by Timo Bernhard, Earl Bamber and Brendon Hartley, took the chequered flag after the leading Toyota retired with just minutes remaining.
18/6/2017 – It's Porsche's 19th outright win at Le Mans, moving them level with Ferrari's record win tally at the time.
18/6/2017 – The win turns out to be Porsche's last as a full LMP1 works team – the manufacturer withdrew from top-class competition at the end of the season.
