For those visitors to Le Mnas who want the privacy (and peace and quiet) of a private room tour operators have provided a village of Flexotel cabins. These cabins are located in a private area at “Antares Sud” which is in the centre of the circuit and within an easy stroll from the start and finish lines. All bed linen and towels will be supplied and each cabin has a twin bed. Parking will be provided.

For those arriving on the Dover – Calais ferry prices start at £819.00 for the three days leading up to race day and the race day (and evening) itself.

Camp sites

One of the best ways for petrolheads to really immerse themselves in the Lemans 24 Hour experience is to make use of one of the camping sites that are situated at varying distances from the track.

For those travelling from the UK the Maison Blanche site, which is alongside a section of track called the Porsche Curves has always been extremely popular. This campsite is extremely popular and can become extremely noisy. Those camping at the site shouldn’t expect much sleep on the nights prior to the race. It’s simply best to immerse yourself in the revelry.

Public campsites such as Houx, Tertre Rouge, Houx Annexe, Blue Nord, Blue Sud and Beausejour have basic shower & toilet facilities and are all just a short walk to the circuit and provide a non-stop party atmosphere.

Prices range from £185.00 to well over £295.00 for four days leading including race day and that evening. Prices are dependent on the package selected and the number of people who will be using the facilities.

Luxury camping

A number of your operators cater to the higher end of the camping market with luxury Event Tents. One such operation can be found at Porsche Corner. The tents are fully carpeted with either single or double mattresses and all bed linen is supplied. Tables, chairs and rugs are also supplied. The interiors of these tents are solar powered and they also feature external lights.

The private paddocks are guarded by 24 hour security and feature a fully serviced shower and toilt block.

Prices range from £439.00 to well over £700.00 for four days leading including race day and that evening. Prices are dependent on the package selected and the number of people who will be using the facilities.

Unique Chalet Camping

Enjoy a unique experience camping at the luxurious French Château d’Eporcé for the Le Mans 24 hours 2016. Available as a 4 or 5 day package. Those booking this once in a lifetime experience enjoy exclusive use of the secluded château grounds and yet remain only 30 minutes’ drive from the town centre and similar time to the Le Mans 24 hours circuit.

Self Drive Options

For those who want the freedom of driving from the United Kingdom to the Le Mans track the Eurotunnel offers a convenient option. This economical options allows you to plan your own trip and pack everything you’re going to need into the boot.

A number of operators run shuttle services to France via the Eurotunnel. With its own motorway junction (11a M20), access to the Passenger Terminal is simple. Prior to boarding the shuttles, you will pass through both UK and French frontier controls which means on arrival in France, you simply drive off the shuttle and onto the European motorway network.
